Registration T&Cs

Tiered Pricing Model

All fees are quoted in New Zealand dollars ($NZD) and are indicative of 15% Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Registration rates for DFTB24 will be released in four sets, in an increasing tiered structure with capped tickets per release:

  • Nurses & Registrars Registration (max 50) – $995
  • First Release Full Registration (max 100) – $1210
  • Second Release Full Registration (max 100) – $1420
  • Third Release Full Registration (max 200) – $1630
  • Final Release Full Registration – $1840

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and will be subject to availability. Once each release is sold out, the online registration system automatically moves to the next tier.

Payment must be received on the date of purchase in order to secure your registration rate.

Registration Cancellation Policy

Deadline: Friday, 19 July 2024
Cancellations must be notified in writing (e-mail is sufficient) to the Conference Secretariat. Cancellations made by 19 July 2024 will result in a full refund minus $150 to cover administration costs. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person by 19 July 2024 without incurring any cost penalty. Refunds for cancellations received after 19 July 2024 will only be made in exceptional circumstances. The Conference Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers.


All best endeavours will be made to present the program as printed on this website. The Conference and its agents reserve the right to alter without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the meeting, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. The Organising Committee and the Conference Organisers are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Organising Committee and the Conference Organisers do not accept responsibility for the loss of monies caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions. The Conference does not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings, theft or damage to belongings.

Conference Postponement

In the event of a postponement, all registrations will automatically be transferred to the new Conference dates. All registration components including accommodation bookings, Welcome Reception RSVP and Conference Party RSVP will also be transferred. If unable to attend the new dates, you may contact the Conference Secretariat to request a transfer of your registration to a colleague at no cost, or request a cancellation and refund which will incur a $150 administration fee up until the Registration Cancellation Deadline.

Conference Cancellation

In the event of the cancellation of the Conference, all registrations and associated components of attendance will be cancelled and amounts refunded in full.

Tours Cancellation Policy

Payment for tours must be received on the date of purchase in order to secure your place in the group booking. A minimum of 15pax per tour are required for the tour to go ahead. Minimum numbers must be confirmed 45 days prior to the tour departure date. The DFTB24 Secretariat reserves the right to cancel the tour if minimum numbers are not met, in this case, the tour fee will be refunded in full. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the DFTB24 secretariat 45 days prior to the tour departure date in order to receive a full refund.

Marketing Privacy

In registering for DFTB24 relevant details (name/organisation) will be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates, and also may be made available (if necessary) to parties directly related to the Conference including sponsors, key suppliers and future Conference’s. Your name, contact information, image and likeness may be used by the Conference Secretariat and other approved stakeholders, for marketing and managing this and future events of this type.

Accommodation T&Cs


Accommodation will not be confirmed until payment of the first night is received by Credit Card or full pre-payment is received by Cheque or Electronic Funds Transfer. Your payment will be forwarded to your hotel and credited to your room account. Delegates must settle the balance of their account with the hotel concerned upon check in/out depending on the hotels policy. If accommodation deposits are not received before 17 July 2024 your room will be cancelled and released back to the hotel. The DFTB24 Secretariat does not take responsibility for accommodation if payment is not received by this date.

Cancellations & No Show Policy

Every hotel will have its individual Terms & Conditions. We advise you read the Terms & Conditions thoroughly before making a booking. Terms & Conditions are available on the dftb24.com accommodation page or the individual hotel DFTB24 booking portals. The Conference Secretariat is not liable for any cancellations or late fees. To cancel or make changes to your reservation, please contact the hotel directly.

Early Arrival

As check in at most hotels is not until 1400, it is possible that your room may not be ready for immediate occupation on your early arrival. Whilst hotels will do everything possible to accommodate early arrivals, if you wish to be guaranteed immediate occupation you can pay an extra day’s tariff for the night before you are due to arrive. If you wish to take this precaution, please notify the hotel that your room is required early.
