“I’m currently employed as a Neonatologist at Wellington Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, NZ – a busy, 40 cot, perinatal medical and surgical unit. One of my areas of interest is Clinician performed ultrasound (Cardiac, Cranial, Lung, abdominal, vascular access). We are a unit that places significant emphasis on this practise, providing 24/7 access to clinician performed ultrasound in the unit, along with a training program for fellows. I am also a member on the Neonatal Reference Group for ASUM (Australasian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine) which provides oversight of training and accreditation in Neonatal, Clinician performed ultrasound across Australia and NZ. I’m looking forward to spending some time again in Christchurch meeting you all! When I’m not playing with the Ultrasound at work, I’m busy having fun with my 4 young daughters at home”.
